AWARD RECOGNITION FOR WHO GUARDS THE MOON?
I'm honored to share that my work Who Guards the Moon? received the second prize at the Textile Festival in Amersfoort.
The project reflects on humanity's growing desire to exploit and claim what's valuable - shifting our colonial gaze from Earth to the Moon. Through this work, I invite viewers to reflect on responsibility, cultural heritage, and the meaning of progress in an age of space exploitation.
I'm deeply grateful for this recognition and for the thoughtful dialogue surrounding the work.
The work is on view at the Textile Festival until 23 May 2026.
