I was trained as a painter at the Academy of Visual Arts in Tilburg The Netherlands. My path led me to the University of Utrecht where I received my degree in Art History and Archaeology - deepening my understanding of the stories behind art and culture. Later, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mol, Belgium. I found my true direction in Textile Arts, graduating with a specialization in Felt Art. What began with painting has grown into a dialogue between fibre, nature, and imagination.
